[Click on photograph to enlarge it.] This photograph shows Clare College, the second oldest of the Cambridge colleges, founded 1326, with Clare Bridge — the oldest of all the Cambridge bridges over the Cam, built by Thomas Grumbold, c.1640 (Norwich 141).
