Landscape scene near the University of Cambridge

River scene near the University of Cambridge. The Cam (becoming the Granta) winds through Grantchester Meadows between the Cambridge and Grantchester. The meadows are "as dear to Cambridge hearts as Christ Church Meadows to Oxford Hearts." The area is truly one of "great natural beauty" (Christian 77).
