The Food Halls are a tour de force: the mosiac freeze and tilework (designed by W. J. Neatby) combine maginficiently with the sensuous display of food. Recalling Harrods' original trade, they are an oblique memorial to the energies of Henry and Charles Harrod" (Jones and Woodward, 187).
