The New Quad, Brasenose College

Oxford

Almost twenty years have elapsed since your webmaster took this picture while teaching at Brasenose, and when I first scanned this picture and put it online, I reversed the image, but David Newman kindly writes from the UK to point that out and to explain that "The locked door to the High is behind the camera, the chapel should be on the right, and the student rooms on the left — from which you would indeed be able to see the Radcliffe Camera. The buildings at the far end are the kitchen area between the New Quad and the Hall." If I recall correctly, Walter Pater had rooms in this building.
