Porch over entrance
George Edmund Street
1879
4 Cadogan Square, London SW1
Jones and Woodward comment that this building, the home Street designed for himself, "makes few concessons to the prevailing 'Pont Street Dutch' — only the use of red brick and perhaps the restrained window arrangements. His gothic is given free reign in the magnificently assymetrical porch to the front door" (184).
