Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, [bless] His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion. . . . Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. [Psalm 103: 1-4; Psalm 100: 1]
At lower right we see Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (from Daniel 3) safe in the fiery furnace. In another plate depicting David as Psalmist Schnorr included images of the friendship of Jonathan and the young David and another biblical scene.
