The Coming of the Magi

John Hardman & Co

1884-89

Apse, Holy Trinity, LLandudno

North Wales

This is the second in the series of five double lancets in the apse, commemorating members of the Thursby family, and depicting the birth, childhood and boyhood of Jesus: the nativity, the coming of the Magi, the presentation in the Temple, Jesus teaching in the Temple, and Jesus in the carpenter's shop. This one, showing the Coming of the Magi, is just above the altar, which hides roundels depicting Nahum and Habakukk at the bottom of the window.
