The visit to Leighton's studio took place in 1864 (Letters, IV, 143); to Hunt's, in 1868 (Cross, 111, 32); to Watts's, in 1870 (Haight, p. 422); to Rossetti's, in 1870 (Letters, V, 78-79; to Burne-Jones's, in 1873 (Letters, V, 391); and to Mrs. Allingham's, in 1877 (Letters, Vl, 424).
