Kitbashed Machine Shop

Kitbashed Machine Shop

The machine shop, like the Chop and Oyster House near the main Galilee dock, was bit from leftover parts of AHM machine shop and other kits I used to create the P. J. Macktez Woolen Mill, which became the subject of an article in Model Railroader. For this model, I used tapering walls on the extension, constructed a loading doc, and used a Grandt Line chimney and support for the roof over the doorway. Airbrushed Floquil paints, a rub-on sign, and various detail parts complete the model.

Installed on the layout: behind the bunkers of City Coal one can catch sight of the machine shop in place on the AP&G [GPL].
