This is the second of three versions or stages of this building, which I created to see what I could do with Design Preservation Models modular components and some plastic stone material I found at a train show. The first version had a flat roof, but I ripped that off and tried several times until I could make the slightly peaked roof characteristic of a lot of New England mills you see here. The third and probably final version came about after I purchased a three-part factory from Railway Design Associates and placed this building behind the new ones. The beautiful details here are resin casting that came unpainted from Sierra West Scale Models [GPL].
