American Troops Storming a German Rocket Emplacement — Three-quarter view behind charging soldiers

rocket emplacement

The rocket launcher comes from a Monogram kit, and the German Kettenfraftkad and troops are from Tamiya. I made the walls and rocks from hydrocal and the vegetation from Woodland Scenics foam and a Walther's tree. I believe the barbed wire is a Verlinden product. I constructed solid walnut base from wood I had milled to hold a piece of 5/8 inch plywood base and accomodate a 1/4-thick plastic cover.

In January 2006 this diorama was donated to Brown University's Anne S. K. Brown Military Collection at the invitation of its curator [GPL].
