Memorial Fountain (1896; replaced in concrete 1974) by William Robert Colton RA (1867-1921. Bradley and Pevsner call it the Mermaid Fountain, but Byron, who dates the replacement to 1975, entitles it the Colton Memorial (also known as Little Nell).[Click on this image and those below to enlarge them.]
