The inscription on one side reads: “Free Trade the People's Right's [sic] while the other side has the following inscription at the top: “Corn Monopoly; a Nation’s Curse” and a quotation from the Bible at the bottom: “Thou hast witholden bread from the hungry (Job 22.67v.”
