The Mapping Sculpture site bases its presumed date of 1934 on the Staffordshire exhibition, but the inscription on the reverse of the bas relief states: “Professor Edouard Lanteri /1910/ Royal College of Art / School of Sculpture / Stanley Mace Foster ARCA . . . ”
