Charles William Wyllie (1853-1923) was the younger brother of William Lionel Wyllie, who made his name with paintings of the Thames and Medway during the 1880s. His younger brother Charlie often painted similar subjects, but he lacked his elder brother's fine eye for detail and sense of life.
