St. John the Evangelist by Alfred Stevens (1817-1876), Bronze. height: 5 inches, length: 10 inches. Private Collection. Cast from sketch models for figure to be placed at the base of the dome of St. Paul's, but intended to be completed in marble. [British Sculpture 1850-1914, p. 31].
