Sylvester Works. Architect: M. Matthews. Sylvester Street, Sheffield. According to Harman and Minnis, this building, which was occupied in the nineteenth century by “Thomas Ellin & Co., steel and cutlery manufactures and merchants” has a “vaguely Egyptian dooryway” (143).
