Altar Frontal at St Edward the Confessor, Leek. This is in use now, and is particularly delicate in design, showing Christ in Majesty in the middle with angels on clouds, swinging censers, either side. Above are representations of the Holy Ghost as doves with fiery halos amid tongues of fire. According to the Staffordshire County Council website, "[s]ome of the embroideries, like the four altar frontals, were executed by members of the Leek Embroidery Society to [Morris & Co.'s] designs" — but this may not apply to the one actually in use when last visited.
