Scenes involving St Peter

Clayton & Bell (attributed)

St Peter's, Hinton Road, Bournemouth

Western transept

Difficult to appreciate because of the protective grill, this window shows well-known scenes involving St Peter: above, at Pentecost (Peter holds a key in the middle; note the tongues of fire on all the disciples' heads); then, lower left, Peter and John running to the tomb of Jesus after learning that it has been opened; lower middle, Peter being instructed by Jesus to "feed my lambs"; and lower right, Peter raising Dorcas from the dead (Acts 9, 41).
