Spring, with a rondel of a Robin Feeding Its Young in the Nest, stained glass by John J. Jennings (1848-1919), in a domestic setting. The detail here is lovely: all kinds of spring flowers, including primroses, can be seen in the lower part of the panel, and the robin has a worm or caterpillar in its beak, which the young birds, with their open beaks, are waiting eagerly to devour. It is a happy, colourful scene of seasonal bounty and growth.

The images were kindly sent in by Marilyn Madigan, great-granddaughter of the artist. The photographs remain her copyright.
