Dame Jane Follett Memorial Window, at St James' Church, Weybridge, by Michael O'Connor. Dame Jane Follett died in 1848, so this would have been an early O'Connor window, installed perhaps a couple of years or so after the church was opened in 1848. This is an attribution by Peter Cormack. The window is the first in the north aisle.

The window shows, from left to right: the raising of Jairus's daughter, the risen Christ, and the woman touching the hem of Christ's garment. The two miracles on either side are recorded as having taken place on the same occasion: when Jesus was fetched to save the child, a sick woman, who just touched the hem of his garment as he passed by, was healed (e.g. see Matthew 9. 18-26). The text under the central panel is from the Old Testament: "Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off" (Isaiah 33, 17).

Close-up of lower part of the central light.
