Peter Sinking in the Lake

Stained glass

South aisle, second window, St Peter's Church

Bournemouth

The second of the four matching south aisle windows installed here, before the rest of the church was built, and dealing with St Peter, to whom the church was dedicated. This is the episode when Peter sinks into the water, and Jesus helps him back to the boat (e.g. Matthew 14, 24-32, when Jesus says, "O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" (v.31)).
