The Right Rev. Robert Milman, D.D., the new Bishop of Calcutta, who has gone out to take charge of his diocese, is a son of the late Sir W. G. Milman, Bart., and a nephew of the Very Rev. E. Hart Milman, D.D., the present Dean of St. Paul's. He was educated at Westminster School; and among his contemporaries there may be mentioned the late Bishop of Calcutta, Dr. Cotton.
