I seed ’em once a workin’ away extra ’ard, and as I says, says I, depend on it there’s piece work there; but wen I ’eered as they was doin’ it for nuffin, and a given’ up their half pints as well, I were downright shocked, and says I it’s reg’lar flying in the face of natur’ and a takin’ the bread out of the workin’ man’s mouth it is!.”
