Remarkable Dream. Punch (12 May 1866): 195. “Communicted by our artist. — He thought the Royal Academy had decreed that Exhibitors were to Hang their own Pictures. That, thereupon, he rushed, with the Speed of Lighting, wih his Great Work down to Trafalgar Square. A.'s, and fixed immoveably in the Place of Honour the only work of Genius of the Year.”
