Wildes Farm — the side facing the Hampstead Garden City and the opposite side of the building from the view near the Bull and Bush. Wildes Farm, which began as a fifteenth-century cottage to which various parts were added, was deeded to Eton College by Henry VIII. In later years it became the home of Sir Raymond Unwin, the pioneering architect-town planner who designed with Lutyens Hampstead Garden City. Wildes, obviously no longer a farm, saw London grow up around it.
