West end of York Minster (probably in line with earlier railings).

Comment: The brackets between and below the two lamps have an attractive scrolling design. In the middle of each bracket is a quatrefoil (compare the latticework and spandrels o Lendal Bridge), York.The gilded bits are vaguely shield-shaped but flat and blank. They might even indicate modern repair work.
