Farmhouse and chicken coop

I scratchbuilt this country farmhouse, which probably belongs more in the Southeastern US than in Rhode Island, using cardboard, Campbell shingles and window castings, and a Preiser figure that I painted. The piles of stacked cordwood are small twigs. The plans, which I modified a bit, came from Robert E. Gilbert's "A Complete Mountain Farm," an article in Willard V. Anderseon's 1958 Easy-to-Build Model Railroad Structures.

In the second version of the AP&G, I placed the house with its back to the inlet next to a pig-pen and windmill.
