Stained glass

1923 and 1930

All Saints', Putney, London SW15

South Aisle, 2

The Morris firm continued to use Burne-Jones's designs for stained glass long after his death. In charge now was John Henry Dearle (1859-1932), who particularly admired the later collaboration between Morris and Burne-Jones, and this continued to be the favoured style. The left-hand window commemorates Mary Burnard (d. 1922), and the right-hand one is for Arnold and Clara Holt (d. 1930).
