Karl Bernhard Lehmann (1858-1940) was a Swiss-born German bacteriologist and hygienist. He was a pupil of Pettenkofer at Munich, and became Professor of Hygiene at Würzburg in 1894. With Rudolf Otto Neumann (1868-1952) he published Atlas und Grundriss der Bakteriologie. In 1901 George H. Weaver of Rush Medical College in Chicago translated it, and it was published under the title Atlas and Principles of Bacteriology.
