Figures of three important Church of England preachers, John Keble (1792-1866), Harry Parry Liddon (1829-1890), and Edward Bouverie Pusey (1800-1882). White English alabaster, installed on the pulpit of St Nicholas church, Nicholaston, Gower, designed by George Eley Halliday (1857-1922) and built 1892-94. Halliday's ample funding gave him "the richest opportunity to incorporate a lavish set of fittings ... all exhibiting the consummate craftsmanship of William Clarke of Llandaff" (Newman 97).
