Deborah Denenholz Morse is Professor of English at William and Mary and the author of Women in Trollope's Palliser Novels and the forthcoming Reforming Trollope: History and Englishness in Anthony Trollope's Novels, as well as many essays on Trollope, most recently in the collections Victorian Vulgarity and Victorian Transformations. She is also co-editor of The Politics of Gender in Anthony Trollope's Novels (Ashgate 2009).
