Windsor Castle in Modern Times. Sir Edwin Landseer, R.A. 1841-43. Oil on canvas, 113.4 x 144.3 cm. RCIN 406903. Courtesy of the Royal Collections via a Creative Commons permission. [Click on the image to enlarge it.]

According to the Royal Collections Trust website, “The scene is set in the White Drawing Room at Windsor, decorated with the Morel and Seddon furniture commissioned by George IV, and with a view of the East Terrace, upon which Queen Victoria's mother, the Duchess of Kent, is seen enjoying a circuit in a bath chair. Some liberties have been taken with the scene: the light of the setting sun does not quite seem to strike at the right angle and the windows seem to be entirely without glass.”
