Former town hall, Llangollen. This Grade II listed town hall was built in 1867 by Lloyd Williams and Underwood, the County Architects. Standing proud in an early Gothic style, it has a striking presence on the corner with Parade Street. As in other such buildings in small towns, the civic offices were on the first floor, with a market hall below, a blending of purposes no longer favoured by bigger towns and cities.
