Commemorative medal with Queen Victoria's medallion portrait by Sir Thomas Brock on front. When Brock's first version of the bas relief portrait was rejected for the official medal, he used it for other commemorative medals, such as this one that bears the image of a church and the inscription: “St. Gabriel's Church Pimlico Reverend Rupert H. Morris Vicar[.] To commemorate the 60th year of Her Majesty's Reign 1837-1897. Fear God Honour This King.”

Collection: John Sankey, who retains copyright. Photographs by George P. Landow. Information provided by Mr. Sankey. [Click twice on images to enlarge them.]
