Introduction
Lady Feodora Gleichen was the daughter of Lady Laura Wilhelmina Seymour (1833-1912) and Count Victor Gleichen — Admiral HSH Prince Victor Ferdinand Franz Eugen Gustaf Adolf Constantin Friedrich of Hohenlohe-Langenburg GCB (1833-91) — the son of Queen Victoria's half sister, who created the statue of Queen Victoria at Royal Holloway College. According to the Mapping Sculpture site, she was a member of the Society of Medallists and the Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society and was elected postumously to the Royal Society of British Sculptors in 1922. She is probably the only British sculptor to give St. James Palace, where she also had her studio from 1903 to 1915, as a home address.
