This is one of Jagger's early and "predominantly male" nude studies (Compton 17). Its whereabouts now is unknown, but I. G. McAllister describes it as having, like his Study of a Girl from Life, "the quality of living flesh" (99). Compton shows the model in profile (see p. 107).
