From top left moving clockwise: (a) Christ with his disciples, (b) Christ in glory, (c) Adam at work while Eve sits with child, (d) The marriage at Cana and the miracle of water into wine, (e) Noah building the ark. The circular light above depicts a man sowing, which corresponds to the light on another window (image) in which a man looks at a field of wheat. These scenes might refer to John 12:24 in which Christ redefines death as change rather than end: “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”
