The angel at the left holds a censer, and the one on the right a zither. In the lower left lancet, a young man in a desert prays: “Hear my prayer O Lord, Give ear unto my cry” (Psalm 39:12). In the lower right lancet an older man hold sheaves of wheat, with the text “I will praise thee for thou hast heard me” (Psalm 118:21).
