St. Mark

St. Mary Magdalene in Paddington.

According to Father Stephenson's history of the church and its decorations, "the ten stone statues between the arches of the nave were added as they were donated — nearest the chancel are S Mary Magdalene with her alabaster box of ointment, and King David with his harp, then come the four evangelists, two on each side, then the four major prophets, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel."
