Lethaby's Mediaeval Art, from the Peace of the Church to the Eve of the Renaissance 312-1350, bound in full rich crushed crimson morocco by "The Club Binder, 1906" (stamp-signed in gilt to front dentelle). Covers divided into nine panels, arabesque tools filling corner panels on both covers, spine lettered in gilt and decorated with unusual vertical gilt ruling. Edges of boards ruled in double gilt fillets.... Inner dentelles ruled and decorated in gilt, green and orange marbled endpapers, top edge gilt, other edges trimmed. [Click on image to enlarge it.]
