The Punch illustrations in 1854 were produced by at least three artists. About a quarter of the plates are by John Leech. The trident initial "W" suggests Erasmus Augustus Worthington. Richard Doyle, who designed the 1849 masthead for the magazine, was probably a significant contributor in 1854. Charles Keene's presence is also detectable, although I have not found his initials on any of these illustrations. — Philip V. Allingham
